I’ve just finished FoxSwap. It’s a short but really cool game with an interesting concept. It lacks a few things like background music and sound effects. In terms of gameplay, it could be interesting to have a visual cue and sound indication of which fox you just took control of. Again, it was really cool and I can’t wait to see your next projects.
Nice idea. The buildup in levels seems good. The fox is cute^^ I think the game can use more effects when actions are happening. Good luck with this and your next game.
Thank you Rogerty for your comment, I really appreciate it ! :) What do you have in mind about "actions" ? Do you mean an animation when doors open for exemple ? Thanks again !
Hey, i didn't play all the way through, but this seems like a pretty neat idea and a cool game, congrats that you managed to make this in one month, but i have some feedback:
1. First thing i noticed: You used an assetpack, which generally is nothing bad, but this is one of the most common asset packs used in many beginner tutorials for Unity. It doesn't matter if you can't draw and instead use an asset pack, but make sure that it isn't that obvious or maybe learn how to draw, that's what i'm currently trying to do also :). Also you can see the clear art style difference of the chest and the rest of the graphics.
2. The UI is well placed and clear to understand, but i personally think the font is a bit generic. And if you don't do that already, try to use Text Mesh Pro.
3. Later in the game the puzzles get more interesting and the different mechanics like stacking clones, different colored buttons or boxes are each well introduced, but especially the beginning of the game is a little bit lame. It's good that you didn't make it to difficult in the beginning, but at the start the levels are pretty repetitive for me personally.
4. This game needs a little bit more polish, e.g. when the box is pushed to the wall, you can't push it around anymore; the different art styles don't fit together; use a different button than ESC for restarting; and most importantly: Sounds or even music really would help the game.
I hope my feedback didn't come off as too harsh, but i saw in the description that you'd like to have feedback so i gave you some. I hope some or all of it helps you and it would be really cool if you could check out my latest game "Level Clear!" too. :D
Thanks for reading all the way through this and good luck with your future games!
First, huge thanks for the time you took to play the game and write that comment. I really appreciate to know that people play my games and even more when they tell me what they thought about it.
About the asset, you're definitely right, It's the most common and used. Even though I like it a lot and thought that It was well on point for that kind of puzzle game.
I know TMP, can't remember if I used it or not, but you got a point, font are important, It's noted down for the next game ;)
About the dificulty, I may admit first 4 levels are a bit too easy. Some more time spend on level design and finding a better difficulty curve would have been nice
The game being not polished it's kind of what I wanted. Make a game fast, playable, not perfect. For me it was important to accept that my game won't be perfect when I launch it. Kind of a fight against perfectionnism you know :)
Your comment was more than welcome, don't worry. Thanks again for it. I will definitely check your game, it looks really cool !
Thanks a lot for your comment ! Definitely, It's the first thing I would have add if I had more time to spend on Fox Swap. I didn't thought at first that it was so important but know I do. That will be a lesson for my next game ;)

Game is very intuitive and interesting! Would be better if we had sound effects but nonetheless 10/10.

Yes! Ehm... particles or sprites or sound effects or screen shake (not too much^^) or whatever effect you can think of :)
Noted down ;)
